Stainless Steel 15-5 is a precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel that is used in a variety of applications. It is best applied in situations requiring better corrosion resistance and transverse properties compared to other similar martensitic grades. The strength and toughness desired for an individual project can be altered by a temperate range in the heating treatment process.

Features
Corrosion Resistance: 15-5 stainless stands up excellently in a range of atmospheric environments even when exposed to corrosive elements.

This alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and transverse properties which make it well-suited for a wide variety of applications including valves, aircraft parts, gears, and pump parts.
